His Hands His Feet 2017 trips

We are thrilled to announce our summer 2017 trips!  For more details on any of these teams, contact Jenni Ramsey at ramseyfam5@icloud.com.

June 24-July 1 - Lighthouse Christian Fellowship, Prosper, TX

Lighthouse will be sending a family missions team (for children ages eight and up) to serve children living in government run orphanages with the HOPE OF THE GOSPEL.  Team members will organize outreach events (based on the skills of the team), feed the homeless community and possibly visit teen detention centers.  This team may also build a home, depending on the size and abilities of the team members.  The team will be lead by Jenni Ramsey and Chris Cain, the Youth Pastor for Lighthouse.  An informational meeting will be held in early January at the Ramsey home.  This trip is open to anyone (age 8 or older).  Applications and references are required.  Contact Jenni Ramsey for an application.

July 22-29 - Young Women of Vision, Orange County, CA

Young Women of Vision (YWOV) will be hosting their fourth quinceanera (the traditional birthday celebration for Latin American girls) and MAKING DREAMS COME TRUE for teen girls living in government run orphanages.  This is a mother/daughter team and all applications must be submitted to YWOV.  This trip is reserved for YWOV members only. The team will be led by Jenni Ramsey, Stephanie Keenan and a YWOV leader.  Our first team meeting is scheduled for Sunday, January 7 in Newport Beach.

July 29- Aug 5 - Crean Lutheran High School & The Village Church of Irvine, CA

This team will be sharing the GOOD NEWS OF JESUS with children living in government run orphanages and special needs centers.  The team may also build a home, depending on the size and background of the team members.  Various outreaches will be prepared (sports, music, etc.) as the team is built.  There will also be opportunities to serve the homeless community and support The States Diner, a restaurant that provides employment to young people transitioning out of government run centers.  The team will be led by Jenni Ramsey and Lindsey Warneke, Crean Lutheran High School teacher.  Join us for an informational meeting on the evening of Monday, January 9 in Irvine.   This trip is open to anyone (age 8 or older).  Applications and references are required.  Contact Jenni Ramsey for an application.

"Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the good news of the kingdom and healing every disease and sickness. When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few.  Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers in to his harvest field.” - Matthew 9:35-38
