We are here! After a flight delay in LAX and a long day of travel, we have arrived! We are settling in at the Ackermann's mission home and are already having an adventure of a lifetime. After our arrival, we enjoyed pizza for dinner, met together for a brief team gathering and disappeared into our rooms tired, excited and anxious for the week ahead. We will "rise and shine" bright and early at 5 a.m. (4 a.m. CA time!) to serve at Calvary Chapel San Salvador. As we head to bed, we are enjoying a torrential tropical rainstorm. Welcome to El Salvador! We will post photos and updates tomorrow!
