Did you know that many organizations offer grants for adopting families? Adoption costs can vary between $20,000-$40,000 and those overwhelming numbers often deter couples or singles from pursuing adoption. Christian songwriter Steven Curtis Chapman and his wife Mary Beth founded Show Hope (www.showhope.org) in 2003 to help children find their way into forever families. Our family was blessed to receive an adoption grant through Show Hope two years ago and we love to volunteer for their foundation whenever we're able to.
Last night our family volunteered for Show Hope at Steven Curtis Chapman's concert in Santa Ana, CA. We were honored to speak with people about orphan care, orphan outreach trip and adoption. Our boys did a great job sharing their stories and distributing sponsorship packets. It was such a blessing to serve together as a Show Hope grant family!
